Some awards the team are proud of include:

2018: Mrs Ramkali Khadka was awarded CEO of the Year – SME at the Nepal CEO Summit. The award acknowledges, honors and celebrates the achievement and contributions made for Nepal and its industries.

2017: WSDO received 3rd Place in the Mohammad Islam Design Awards for best range of products in the Fashion Accessory category from the World Fair Trade Organization.

2016: WSDO won Second Prize in the competition “Queen Aishwarya Country Wise Skill Competition” organized by Nepal’s Women Group.

2012: Radio Safalta awarded Mrs Ramkali Khadka for her contribution towards women empowerment.

2012: Namaste Community Foundation gives this letter of Appreciation to Mrs Ramkali Khadka for her contribution towards development of society.

2012: Mrs Ram Kali Khadka presented a Letter of Appreciation by Far Western Connect and Development Community for her contributions and support to society.

2011: Gorkhali Radio MHZ acknowledged Mrs Ram Kali Khadka for her contribution to the area of Women Empowerment.

2009: Mrs Ram Kali Khadka receives Best Women Entrepreneur from President Puspa Kamal Dahal for her regular contribution towards promotion and development of industry and business.

2009: Global Entrepreneurship Week commended WSDO – “In honor of entrepreneurial visions and contributions that have laid the foundation for enterprise development and for projecting a dynamic outlook for the enhancement of Nepalese market economy.”

2007: WSDO was appreciated by Fair Trade Group Nepal for supporting its development and attending events.

2007: WSDO received the 5th Mohammad Islam Design Award for best range of products in the Gifts category from the World Fair Trade Organization.

2006-07: Mrs Ram Kali Khadka presented with the award for Outstanding Professional Woman by the Rotary Club of Pokhara.

2004: WSDP won Best Stall in the exhibition organized by the Western Regional Armed Police Family Women Association.

2002: Mrs Ram Kali Khadka participated in the “Women and Economic Development” International Visitor Program at the United States Department of State.
